Staff Attorney - Texas
Michael Halla graduated from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, and afterward moved back home to Texas and worked for the City of Austin. He came to the DFW area in 2003 in order to have easier access to his family, which is important to him. After five and a half years working in the private sector, Michael decided it was time to offer clients his unique style of treating people, fighting for their interests and sharing their concerns in ways he could not if he worked for someone other than himself. Michael has passed the bar exams to be licensed in the states of Texas, Florida and Alabama, as well as U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern and Eastern districts of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Michael’s focus and passion as an attorney is to deliver quality legal services while maintaining his focus of His Lord and Savior who has graciously given him all he has. As a skilled negotiator, Michael works with his clients to identify settlement options and secure agreements that can avoid the necessity of litigation, while serving his clients’ best interests. Michael regularly attends Watermark Church in Dallas, and, as a former collegiate athlete, tries to take time each week to exercise, do some leisure reading and spend time with family.
